The Poetic Voice is a day conference exploring the nature of poetry in C hristian writing and composition. 

Objectives of the day is to:

Christian poetry can be dynamic and challengin g but it needs to constructed well in order for the message to be convey ed to its readers.  This course will teach you how to structure wor ds for great impact.  The course will also stretch the mind of the attendees and will involve a variety of writing techniques.  Come p repared to work hard.

Learning will be done through class lecture s, discussion, group and individual actiivities.  The lecturer for the day is Catherine Anthony Boldeau.  Catherine has an MA in Creat ive Writing and is one of the founders of Adventist Writers and Editors.   Catherine has vast experience as a writer and writing lecturer.&n bsp; She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Journalists, and has published many articles as well as poetry, essays and short stories .  She has written two plays - Seasons (performed in 2009) and Pray ing Women - the monologue (performed at Watford Palace Theatre in 2010).
